Zheltorossiya

This is what the Russians have planned during the Russo-Japanese War. Suppose that Russia won and they annexed Northern Manchuria and had Southern Manchuria as a co-dominion with China. With the fall of Qing, it becomes the new homeland of the Dynasty. After becoming a Japanese satellite, it ends up as a Soviet puppet state in 1945 in exchange for full American control of Korea. 

Zheltorossiya meanwhile, becomes a new "California" for Russian settlers, as well as a Formosa of sorts for the White movement. It aligned itself with Japan, but it was not lucky as Manchuria during the Soviet conquest. In 1946 the Zheltorossiyan SSR of the Soviet Union was formed in this territory. The native Chinese were forced to adopt a Russian-Chinese pidgin later called Zheltorossiyan as language. When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, Zheltorossiya became independent. It has a mix plurality of Russians and Chinese. The People's Republic of Manchuria claims all of Zheltorossiya as "Heilongjiang" or "Sahaliyan Ula", which was quietly ignored in Harbin.
